Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (PPISR), Bangalore, India, was established under the aegis of the Admar Mutt Education Foundation (AMEF)- a charitable trust founded in 1993 by Sri Vibudhesha Teertha Swamiji, the then chief-pontiff of Sri Admar Mutt. PPISR aims at nurturing and promoting original curiosity-driven fundamental research in the basic sciences, applications-oriented research in the materials and biological sciences aimed at conferring benefit on all mankind, and interdisciplinary research for the unification of scientific and philosophical thought.
