Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (PPISR) is funded by the Admar Mutt Educational Foundation (AMEF). Founded by H. H. Sri Vibhudesha Threetha Swamiji, one of the presiding 8 pontiffs associated with the Udupi Sri Krishna temple, the Admar Mutt Educational Foundation (AMEF) is dedicated to furthering scientific reseach in the fields of mathematics, physics, material and biological science. The AMEF board of trustees are:
